Before 2006 ends, I thought I'd rate some movies that released this year which I happened to catch and haven't reviewed. All were watched on cable tv and resulted in me switching channels half way through.
Tom Dick and Harry - 1/10 - extremely insensitive brainless film about three people who are dumb, blind and deaf. (Jimmy Shergill)
Pyaare Mohan - 1/10 - Ditto as above. (Viveik Oberoi and Fardeen Khan)
Corporate - 3/10 - film about the Coke - Pepsi battle and the pesticide issue...strange dialogue. (Bipasha Basu)
Golmaal - 1/10 ass of a film, truly sucked.
Banaras - A Mystic Love Story - 3/10 - was too slow paced! (Urmila Matondkar)
Kalyug - 3/10 - story about the porn blue film industry. Film was marred by a poor script and Emran Hashmi's acting. Good songs though. (Kunal Khemu and Emraan Hashmi)
Aryan - the Unbreakable - 2/10 - Story of a boxer marrying a teenager...boring...no acting. (Sohail Khan and Sneha Ullal)
Fight Club - 3/10 - Sohail Khan, Zayed Khan and Dino Morea in a violent murder mystery.
Saawan - The Love Season - 2/10 - tired of waiting and waiting for the Salman Khan scene, I finally got cheezed off with the 70's style side effects and switched channels.
Bhoot Uncle - 1/10 - boring movie starring Jackie Shroff as a ghost. Supposed to be for kids but it seems too scary and no sensible parent should take their kid to watch this flick!
