Here are the movie reviews of two movies I saw last weekend - Pyaar ke side effects and Sandwich. My Tata Indicom - VSNL connection was down for the past one week and I just could not risk posting or moderating comments from office. I thought I'd relax and watch two comedies and this is what I thought of them -
Pyaar Ke Side Effects - 2/10 - ( the side effects of love) - starring Rahul Bose and Mallika Sherawat. Other than the music, there was nothing good about this film. Script with unrealistic English dialogue, awful acting by Rahul 'open mouth' Bose and the same ghisa pita (often repeated) story - hero running off with the bride on her wedding day.
Sandwich - 5/10 - Sandwich was previously titled 'Hum Do Hamaara Ek' (we are two, we have one). It was delayed for many years and finally released recently. Starring Govinda, Mahima Chaudhary and Raveena Tandon in a 'double role' comedy, it is an ok time pass movie for a good laugh. Sandwich is about the situations that come up as a result of Govinda's marriage to two women who have identical sons. The twist occurs when an evil lookalike of Govinda tries to grab his business and property.
